About The Club
The Causeway Tennis Club is located in the heart of Dungarvan (see map) and was founded in 1983, starting off with a small clubhouse and three hardcourts. Since then it has developed substantially, now having five all-weather flood-lit courts and a recently renovated clubhouse. View here some pictures of the renovations.
The club is well subscribed to with over 200 members, who participate in various inter and intra-club activities, including tournaments, leagues and ladders. If you are interested in joining the club, see here some details.
For members of the club who would like to contribute to the website with articles, photos etc, a website account will be created for you. Please just leave a message via the contact form.
Club AGM, Tuesday 21st Feb. 2012
The club AGM will take place in the Club House at 8.00pm on Tuesday 21st February 2012. Your attendance would be appreciated.
Please see the attached document. This is a revised constitution for the club, which, it is proposed, will replace the old one. If you have any feedback, please contact Margaret Browne and/or Donal McGovern.

Bowls Singles Competition
The inaugural winner of the singles competition was John Townsend with runner up Joe Browne. In Joint third place were Patsy Walsh & Brian Shuttleworth. Congratulations to all above. Many thanks to Joe Kelly of Kelly Pharmacy Abbeyside for his kind sponsorship of the event. Prizes will be presented by chairman Eddie Kelly at the Christmas Party on Friday 2nd December.
