Another year passes, and we come to Christmas, a time to reflect on the good and not so good parts of the year gone by. We at the bowls club were able to indulge ourselves with a hearty dinner and the occasional glass of plonk! After a short interlude the presentations of awards were made and in so doing it was refreshing to see new faces being awarded with shields and silver plates.

The members were also pleased that our Sponsor; Liz Murray, of Murray's Pharmacy, Dungarvan. was able to attend our dinner and we are grateful for the support she has shown to the club.

From 8th Dec courts need to be booked using the on-line booking system, please see that attached for guidance.

All members - Courts 1,2 and 3 are not in use until they can be assessed by insurers. Members please re-book games on courts 4 & 5 until the situation can be rectified. Members to only book ONE court per week to allow everyone a chance to play until the courts are repaired. Thanks for your patience.

The 2017 Tennis Club Championships will be held Monday 25th Sep to Friday 29th Sep. Closing date for entries is Thursday 21st Sep @ 8pm. You can find the entry form on the downloads section of the web page or you can get a copy from the club house. Online entries can also be made via http://ti.tournamentsoftware.com/

This is the third year running that members of your local Bowls Club have taken up the challenge and entered the Bowls League of Ireland National Shotts Cup Competition after being runners-up in the final in 2016 This is a knock out tournament that gives you one chance; and one chance only, win you progress, lose you’re out.
On Sunday the 18th June we entered the arena on our home green to play 3 matches against a team from St James Gate, Dublin.
