Successful Interfirms Competition

All participants were delighted to see the sun shine on Saturday last for the finals of our 23rd Annual Interfirms Competition. With 5 divisions, a busy afternoon of matches was scheduled and got underway at 1pm. Details of winners and runners-up will be posted in next week's notes.

Winter League Results

Our grade 4's were in action, away in Carrigaline two weeks ago. On this occasion the home team had advantage and won. Team: T.M. Keans, Bernadette Sheridan, Donal McGovern and David Mahony.

Our grade 5's were in action at home last weekend against Nenagh and made the most of home advantage. Team: Denis O'Donovan, Earnán Ó Cléirigh, Maire Casey and Jo Moran.

Our grade 3's were also in action, away in Carrick-on-Suir and were victorious. Team: Brendan O'Hara, Ray Power, Lindsey Keane and Sue Mahony.

Ladies Ladder

A new ladder will be posted up on the main notice board this Friday. Ladies will have 3 weeks to play 2 matches. Please read the ladder rules. Any queries - contact Miriam on 087 6544648. If you would like to participate in the ladder, write your name up on the list which is posted on the main noticeboard.

Causeway Tennis Club 23rd Annual Interfirms Competition

Our Inerfirms Competition is now well underway. A full schedule of matches is planned for the week with the finals taking place on Saturday 14th. There will be no court availability from 630 onwards. Wishing all participants the best of luck.

Update on Clubhouse Development

Update on the Clubhouse

The new first floor and balcony for the clubhouse is nearing completion. The last four weeks of dry weather have allowed the work to progress without interruption. As members, and indeed anyone else crossing the causeway, will have seen the impressive new structure and roof are complete. The windows have been fitted, the plumbing and electrical installation are completed and the painting and final fitting out is well underway.
