Tennis Etiquette

By Kevin Leech - Posted on 07 April 2016

Several new members have asked me about the rules of Tennis and general Tennis Etiquette. You can find a simple version of the rules of tennis in our download section and I have also listed some basic etiquette details below and remember No.8 Enjoy Yourself!

Tips for good Tennis Etiquette
When playing tennis, you always need to show respect for your opponent and those playing on the courts around you. The following tips will help you

1. Don’t walk across a court when a match is in progress. Instead wait until the point has been played, then walk behind the baseline to your court.

Donate an old Racket

By Anonymous - Posted on 15 March 2016

This year we want to attract new members to the club, this could involve encouraging a casual tennis player to turn into a new member or attract someone who is new to the game.
We are asking members to see if they have an old racket that they would like to donate to be held in the club for casual or new members to borrow.
If you have a racket to donate please drop it into the club or contact a member of the committee (by phone, email or via our facebook page). Thanks
