Monthly Draw Results
 
The July monthly draw was held last Friday night at the club.  Therese McDermott pulled the following lucky names out of the bag: 1st prize €300 Damian Dillon. 2nd Prize  €100 Eveleen O'Neill. 3rd Prize:€100 Yev Chizhikov. Congratulations to all three winners.  The next monthly draw will be held at the clubhouse on the last friday in August (27th) at 8pm. Good luck to everyone.
 
Summer Cup Results
 
Our ladies were playing away in the 2nd round of the Grade 4 draw at Castleview in Carrick on Suir last weekend. The Causeway ladies were successful and are through to the next round- team: Sue Mahony, TM Keane, Ber Sheridan and Cora Drummy. Our grade 5 mixed doubles team were playing away in Clonmel (Hillview) and unfortunately didn't make it through to the next round- Team: Eárnan O Cléirigh, Denis O Donovan, Therese McDermott and Cashel Corby. wishing our grade 4 ladies the best of luck in the next round.

Vets Weekend
 
The club is gearing itself up for the next major event at the club which will be our annual Vets weekend to be held 22-22nd August.  The Club will also be hosting a summer barbeque on Saturday 21st from 830pm-1030pm followed by disco.  Tickets for the steak BBQ with wine and disco etc will cost €20 per person. Bowls Opel Day
 
A very successful bowls open day was held recently at the club.  It was great to see alot of new people having a go and we look forward to welcoming any new members to the club in the future.
 
Ladies Summer Ladder
 
A new ladder will be posted up at the clubhouse during the week.  This ladder will run until the end of September.  If you are interested in playing singles and would like to have a go, please write your name up on the board at the club.
 
 
Junior Events
 
Any juniors interested in participating in junior training sessions/camp during the month of August should check out the details on our website (www.causewaytennisclub.ie )
 
There will be NO junior open week at the the club this year.  We hope to run an alternative club event later on in the year.  More details will be posted in the next coming months.
 
Junior Open Week in Tramore.
 
Contragulations to Ryan O Neill and Trevor Cleary who did very well in the U14 event at the junior open week held recently in Tramore.  Well done to James Matthews and Ryan O Neill who participated in the U12 doubles.  Good luck to all our juniors participating in St Annes junior open week- being held the beginning of August.
