Summer Cup Semi-Final Competition
Our Grade 5 ladies travel to Ballinlough in Cork next Saturday morning, 27th August, to play in the grade 5 ladies Summer Cup Competition. A 4-0 win at home in July in their first round match against Ballyhooley secured them their place in the semifinals of the competition. Team:- Martina Beresford, Sinead Conroy, Orla Hayes and Miriam Matthews.
Annual Veterans Weekend 2011
This coming weekend, the 20th and 21st August, the annual veterans weekend competition takes place. Ger Cusack, Ber Sheridan and Niall Herlihy are busy catering for an entry of up to 100 players from the south east and beyond, who will play in the age categories of over 35s, 45s, 55s and 65s. Despite their advanced years, these seasoned players are sure to serve up an exciting weekend of tennis.

Tramore Senior Open Week
Some club members participated in the recent open week in Tramore. Congratulations to Martina Beresford who defeated Laura Jackman in the ladies grade 5 final. St. Annes Junior Open Week
Last week St. Annes held their junior open week. Well done to Trevor Cleary and Derek Burrows who won the boys under 15 doubles final. Cormac Power and Ciaran O'Neill made ti to the semi-finals of the same event. In the boys under 10 singles semi-final, Eoin Pollock lost narrowly to Gavin Kirrane – better luck next time to Eoin!
