This week, on Wednesday and Thursday the 8th and 9th of June, the lawn bowling lanes will be open to the public from 12pm – 8pm. All are welcome to try out this captivating game for themselves. For prospective members, the bowling club is open for membership, and at €100 per year, offers fantastic value. For further information, contact Donal on 087 9954016.

This year’s Senior Open Week kicked off on Sunday 29th May, with the finals played on Saturday 4th June. The week of competition was a great success, both on and off the court. Players and spectators travelled from Waterford, Carrick-on-Suir, Tramore, Kilkenny, Midleton, Youghal and Lower Aghada, which made for a competitive tournament. The fine weather also played its part, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere in the club.
