Causeway Tennis & Bowls Club
Juniors can attend tennis from the age of 6 to 17 and need to be a member of the club to avail of tennis lessons.
To comply with the Child Protection Safety regulations, Juniors need to have a Fob for entry into the tennis club grounds, access to the courts and club house. A Fob is a mere €10 deposit and refundable when returned. For the safety of your child we urge you to please obtain a Fob for them. Details are on the membership form.
You will also be given access to Skedda, our online court booking system, where you can book courts for your child to come and play outside of the junior tennis lessons. As their parent/guardian, you can avail of the opportunity to come and hit a few balls with them. Please note that it is compulsory to book a court if your child is going to play outside of the Junior Tennis Club.
Juniors under the age of 13 who play outside of the Junior Tennis Club hours, must be accompanied by an adult. Juniors 13 and over need not be accompaied by an adult. However the club can not accept responsibility for independent recreational play. For example, two juniors arriving at the club on their own to play a game. It is strongly recommended that if parents are encouraging their children to play independently of the clubs organised activities that two of the parents stay for the duration of the activity.
Juniors are not allowed on court after 18:30. Last booking slot available for Juniors is 17:15 – 18:30.
Details of tennis lessons can be obtained from Michelle Mernin (Shelly), our junior tennis coach, on 087 147 6356.
Junior membership rate is €50 from 1 April 2021 until and including 31 March 2022. To join your child/ren to the club, please click here to complete the membership form. The Covid questionnaire is available here. Payment details are available on the membership form.
